La Familia Villa Rica fue fundada en 1972 y es una Institución que ofrece servicios educativos en las áreas de:

• Universidad Autónoma de Veracruz. (Villa Rica): Posgrado y Licenciatura
• Colegio Villa Rica: Bachillerato y Secundaria
• Colegio Americano de Veracruz : Primaria, Kinder y Maternal

Sus áreas de Secundaria y Bachillerato fueron fundadas en 1982 para atender la educación que reclaman los tiempos modernos: la educación formativa e informativa basada en los derechos humanos, cuidando el entorno ecológico, fomentando la educación científica, fortaleciendo valores, etc. Desde entonces y a través de una larga trayectoria de 23 años cuenta con el prestigio y reconocimiento de la sociedad veracruzana.

Nuestra institución tiene el firme convencimiento de que la educación es un tesoro para la sociedad y su desarrollo, ya que a través del proceso educativo, de estrategias didácticas y del trabajo comprometido y responsable del colegiado docente es como puede lograr la excelencia académica educando a nuestros alumnos en sus dos partes integrantes: lo escolar y lo humano.

La Filosofía va ligada al lema del Colegio “Fuerza del Futuro” que refleja su ideología en donde concibe al estudiante de Secundaria y Bachillerato como una persona que al prepararse continuamente tiene la posibilidad de luchar por su futuro… y en un futuro… luchar por el desarrollo y bienestar de su entorno.

Fuimos los pioneros en implementar la educación bilingüe en las dos áreas, atendiendo con lo anterior a la gran necesidad de formar a nuestros estudiantes en el inglés que es reconocido como el idioma oficial a nivel mundial.

Hacer llegar los beneficios de la educación al mayor número de mexicanos posible, reafirmando los valores nacionales y fortaleciendo el amor a la Patria, la Familia y la Libertad.

Seguir ofreciendo un servicio educativo de alta calidad académica con el objetivo de lograr la educación integral que reclaman como un reto los tiempos modernos en nuestros estudiantes, promoviendo en ellos una educación formativa a través del desarrollo de conocimientos, habilidades y valores que le ayuden a crecer y perfeccionarse para que puedan tener la oportunidad de seguir fortaleciendo su formación escolar; todo lo anterior, con la finalidad de seguir contando con la confianza, el prestigio y el reconocimiento de la sociedad de Veracruz.

Brindar a sus estudiantes una educación integral de alta calidad académica, basada en el humanismo y la ciencia, a través de un proceso educativo que ayude a lograr la formación integral en sus alumnos con el propósito de formar personas cultas y educadas.

The Villa Rica Family was founded in 1972 and is an institution that offers educational services at the following levels:

• Autonomous University of Veracruz (Villa Rica): Undergrad and Graduate Program
• The Villa Rica School: Middle School and High School
• American School of Veracruz: Nursery, Kindergarten, and Primary School

The Middle School and High School were founded in 1982 to attend to the educational necessities of modern times: an informative and well founded education based on endorsing human rights, ecologically friendly practices, scientific endeavors, building morals, etc.
Since then and during a long 23 year trajectory The Villa Rica School has gained the prestige and recognition of the community of Veracruz.
Our institution has the firm conviction that a good education is a treasure for the development of society. Through the educational process, through didactic strategies and the shared and responsible work of our qualified staff is how we can achieve academic excellence by educating our students in two integral parts: scholastically and through well-founded interpersonal relations.

The school’s philosophy is tied in directly to its logo “Force of the Future” where our ideology reflects upon the concept of a Middle School or High School student as being a person that continually educates themselves and has the possibility of confronting their future . . . and for the future . . . fight for the development and well-being of their surroundings.
We are pioneers in implementing a bilingual education at two levels. We attend to the great necessity of preparing our students in English since it is recognized as being the official language world-wide.

Vision

Our vision is that the benefits of a good education is made available to the largest number of Mexicans possible where we affirm nationalistic values and foment the love for our country, family and liberty.

Also we aim to continually offer a high quality academic service with our students which has the objective of achieving an integral education that confronts the challenges of modern times.
We are to attain this by promoting in them a formative education through the development of knowledge, skills and values that helps them to grow and perfect themselves so as to have the opportunity to continue strengthening their scholastic aptitudes. All of this with the objective of continuing to count on the trust and confidence, the prestige and recognition of the society of Veracruz.

We are to offer our students an integral education with high academic standards based on well-founded interpersonal relations and modern science. All this through an educational process that helps achieve an integral growth in our students with the purpose of fomenting well educated and cultured people.
